● Collaborate with administration in the development of a grade-level specific Advisory curriculum focusing on
Social-Emotional Learning, Growth Mindset, and College and Career through the Naviance platform
● Analyze data relating to students receiving D’s and F’s in core classes to develop and manage a Credit Recovery
program.

attendance, behavior, and achievement, and communicates the assessment results to students, parents, and
teachers
● Assisting with the development of the College Center through one-on-one meetings with seniors, to establish
their post-high school plans by assisting them with college applications, financial aid, and testing requirements
● Assisting with the coordination of the development of the Credit Recovery program through analyzing data
based on progress reports, end of semester grades, Tier 2 leveled students

Supported Lead Counselor in day to day responsibilities; checked in with students who were at-risk due to
distant learning and supported teachers communicating with students and parents
● Participated in school-community collaborations by discussing various intervention strategies for at-risk
students such as after school tutoring and LAUSD clinic referrals
● Collaborated with school staff regarding chronic absent students through phone calls, emails, text messages,
and Zoom meetings
● Ensured all 8th-grade students and parents completed their Zone of Choice High School option application
● Assisted in the planning and facilitation of the 8th Grade High School Choices Information Night.

● Create and implement the College Bound Middle School workshops that build the members co-curricular
profile, identifying careers and majors, understanding the A-G College Requirements, graduation requirements,
and researching various colleges
● Track academic progress for members to ensure they were on track for culmination.

● Developed additional weekly programming to support students need in Math and English
